Winemakers comments
|
The best of the 2014 vintage was handpicked and set on oak for 24 months on first and second run Pennsylvanian American oak. The prime example of a classic Zinfandel, with blackcurrant, boysenberry, cranberry and cedar and cigars. think fruit cake, raisins and stewed forest fruit games on the palate, with a spicy redcurrant finish. A long lengthy wine with soft tannins keeps you coming back for another glass. definitely bring out the decanter for this one..
